Spedimar offers its associates a package of services answering to the purpose targets of the association:

• to defend the interests of the category
• to support the professional growing of the associates
• to guarantee the representation of the freight forwarders’ point of view towards all the local institutions.

With these targets Spedimar promotes a continue action in favour of its associates giving them information, tutorship and support by some specific instruments.

La Spedimar write 250 circular letters in a year, sending by e-mail to all the associates, these circular letters contain specific information about general news, legal ad normative updates , notices, events.
Other important feature of the activity of Spedimar is to have constant relations with institutions, authorities, private and public organization, other local and national associations in order to promote and to tutor the interests of the category.
Consequently with the activities of the associates Spedimar is in contact mainly with the principal subject of the maritime transport world: Port Authorities, Custom Authorities, Maritime Health Services, Terminals, etc.
This constant action make Spedimar act as an intermediary between if own members the institutions.
Spedimar as a trade union association is expert in the collective agreements (Ex CCNL trasporti e spedizioni), in their evolutions and their application; it assists his associates in any contractual problem and helps them to draw up particular contracts and agreements.
Other important group of services Spedimar offers in the area concerning the professional training and updates.
Through these services Spedimar shows its role of support for the grow of the associate.
Spedimar organized and realized a lot of professional courses with the collaboration of some public institutions and private companies.
The courses can be specific for the company workers (Language courses, Computer Courses, Custom technical curses, etc.) or can be professional training courses for young people who want to work in freight forwarder companies.
Apart from the courses the association has always the same target: to increase the professional knowledge of the companies and guarantee them the possibility to offer their customers update services.
In the end Spedimar can promote specific sector studies realize by qualified experts like lawyers, university teachers, custom’s high functionaries, managers, human resource’s experts, etc.
